At approximately 2:40pm PST on Friday, June 11th, Dark Pinup officially SOLD OUT! After less than four week of sales the entire release is now available only from the secondary markets on WAXStash, NFTHive, and AtomicHub. The FACINGS team is glowing with delight from the reception Dark Pinup has received within the WAX and larger NFT community. Read on for and update on the Dark Pinup release so far and faint hints at what will be coming next.
Sale Update
Dark Pinup sold 1920 Collector’s Boxes and 9,600 Full Packs for a total of over $150,000 in primary sales revenue. Collector’s Boxes and over 40% of the Full Pack supply was sold within the first 24 hours of the sale, while the remaining Full Packs dwindled down over the past few weeks. The FACINGS team intended for packs to be available for as long as new customers were discovering Dark Pinup, and the team is proud of the results.

Secondary Market Update
Trading on the secondary marketplace has been just as hot, with over 630,000 WAX in total sales since May 19th. The pace does not appear to be slowing down either, with over $6,000 in volume on AtomicHub in the last three days.
At the time of this article the lowest price for a Full Pack on AtomicHub is 95 WAX and a Collector’s Box will put you back 479 WAX, which indicates a healthy pack market and consistent demand. The cheapest Dark Pinup card on the market is 7 WAX - above a $1.00 floor for the set. With the Ember Burn less than halfway through the supply of packs, and of cards in general, will continue to fade away, locking in value for our long term collectors.
Ember Burn Update
The Ember Burn is an event taking place during the entire month of June and ending on June 30th that focuses on burning Dark Pinup NFTs to earn new Ember Packs containing new Ember and Tin variant cards. Collectors can visit darkpinup.com to open packs and burn cards before visiting the leaderboard page where they can see how they rank up against other collectors. Ember Burn Tips:
- Opening and burning from the inventory page will automatically burn your pack wrapper, saving you extra time during the event.
- Sending cards to burn.atomic with NO MEMO will allow you to burn cards in bulk via AtomicHub (This is an advanced, unsupported feature)
- If you do not want to burn your own cards, search the secondary market for cheap deals
- Make sure you keep at least one full set for future rewards

Leaderboard Rewards
Everyone who participates in the Ember Burn event will be rewarded for their time. Additionally, anyone who finishes the month in the top 10 will get an extra special reward. We will be adding a countdown timer to the site before the event ends to ensure all collectors know when the clock strikes midnight on the burn event.
The battle for the top 10 has been fierce. First place holds over 270 Ember Packs and tenth is coming in strong with 40 total packs. With the competition this strong it is possible that we end the event with more Ember Packs in circulation than remaining Full Packs. With each pack containing three cards that can be either Ember or Tin there is sure to be a few collectors who manage to grab the entire Dark Pinup set.

Set Rewards Update
FACINGS is heads down and focused on the new Ember and Tin cards as well as very exciting new cards for our true collectors — those that manage to complete entire sets. Sets in Dark Pinup mean any entire collection of any variant in the set. For example owning all 44 Prints is considered one subset and will reward you with an extra card for EACH set you complete by the time rewards are distributed. There will be an extra reward for those that complete the entire collection, excluding Special Memento, Ember, and Tins.
Set rewards will likely be distributed one subset at a time starting with base, but the finer details of the distribution are not set it stone. What is known is that the set rewards will not start to be handed out until at least one week after the Ember Burn concludes, to allow collector’s time to , well, collect. The team does not have any art to share yet for the set rewards, but they are sure to be some of the most sought after cards in the collection.
